HWID Spoofer for NBA 2K27: What to Know Before You Buy

A spoofer targets hardware bans, not account bans. Here is what the HWID Spoofer changes, what it requires, and how to check compatibility.

2K has said that repeated cheating in NBA 2K27 can lead to a console or PC ban, not only an account ban. On PC, that is where an HWID spoofer comes in.

What a hardware ban is

Some bans attach to your account. Others attach to the machine itself, using identifiers from your hardware. If a game flags your hardware, making a new account may not help, because the game still recognizes the same PC.

What the HWID Spoofer changes

According to the HWID Spoofer (link 2) page, the spoofer changes hardware identifiers including disk serials, MAC addresses and GPU IDs. The goal is to present your PC as a clean machine after a hardware ban. The page lists support for Easy Anti-Cheat, BattlEye and Vanguard, along with Ricochet and several other anti-cheat systems. 2K’s support site says NBA 2K uses Easy Anti-Cheat on PC.

What it does not do

A spoofer deals with hardware identifiers only. It doesn’t touch your 2K account, so a banned account stays banned. If your account is the problem, read our guide on guide on appealing an NBA 2K27 ban.

Check compatibility first

The spoofer’s product page lists the games it has been tested with, and NBA 2K27 isn’t named there at the time of writing. Because 2K uses Easy Anti-Cheat on PC, you may be well placed, but we would rather you confirm than assume. Before buying, contact support and ask about NBA 2K27 specifically.

Requirements and pricing

  • Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit
  • 1 Week $15 (7 days) or 1 Month $35 (30 days)

As with every product on this site, status shown on the page is current only. Check it again before you launch, particularly after a game update.

Who should look at it

It is aimed at PC players who have a hardware ban or want to protect against one, and who understand it isn’t a guarantee. It is not for console players, and it is not a substitute for deciding how much risk you’re willing to take. If it sounds right, see the HWID Spoofer (link 3) for the latest plans and status, or read our wider HWID spoofer guide.
